THE O'JAYS are terriffic if you love funk, and motown 1970's music.
besides,their lyrics are fabulous,even the stories told,as commentary,is wahat it was at the time..timely too.

Drugs, prostitution, vietnam war,blacks,just started to be sort of recognized is some ares of the U S...what a time--glad i was and still is from the caribbean.

Nevertheless..why not introduce yourself as a music lover to this ..most successfull of bands, and LISTEN INTENTLY to the lyrics and music ok?!

I love the music of this woman! let me say this too, she is the only, only artist i know from my home-country in the caribbean that i really consider to be top notch..with people like alicia keys, and all the newest of RMB singers out there..i rate her amongst the best and greatest, and let me tell you this..i am no easy one to deal with when it comes to rating you on the international arena..

I Don't know.but, the great invincible spirit that i achieve when ever i listen to karen,is so wonderful,i wish for everyone who sincerely love music to, listen to theCARPENTERS,and feel the same feelings i experience..its really awesome.

Classic is true in there ( carpenter's ) case,and i love classic music,if its just for the positive vibes and romantic feel that i get from playing it...but, more than that though, is the inspiration i gather from there music...is like heaven for me.

Why this special?...i grew up on it...its the only type of music back in the early 1970's and i am most graeteful for it..and my kids,though, born inthe 1990's....they too love this type of music too..they are wonderful children..and i am happy and proud that i did introduce it to them.
